ITs a new year .....happy 2008 to yall ,,,time is passing at jet speed .
I will jot down some of my plans and up coming events,,,
October 12th through Thanksgiving I will participate in a three person show with Blair Currin and Mary Gibson at the Brekenridge Art Center.,,,the show is called Impressions of Teaxas...If you would like a catalouge or invitation  please go ahead and contact me and I would be honored to mail you one ....The Plein air Texas competition is coming up in April and I am really looking forward to this one . It will be held the 12th through the 19th ..for more info go to the OPS web site ( go to my links page and it will take you right to their page )...I will have some of my paintings pictured in the southwest art magazine ad .

The marble falls bluebonnet and blues festival again in march
The Graham Art Splash on the Square competition show in May .
And The Bosque Art conservatory show in September

I have not decided wether or not to enter in the Easton Plein Air Event like I did in 2006.....

These are a few of my objectives for 2008 ....and God willing they will all be a successful experience .....Happy new  Year     and may yours  be an acomplished one too.

Well Its early March ....now .....And I wanted to add to this years happenings ...

I will teach a small workshop in Mason ,Texas ......the dates are April 3,4,5,

The cost is $225. and we will be painting along the llano river looking towards the bluffs that occur in an around Mason ......This will also be a first workshop for the new Art group that has just formed in Mason .
It is also the  first workshop that I have given .....so heres to firsts ....(and also the first weekend in april during the spring )....I am looking forward very much to this experience ....
